20R1 Data Model Changes: Quality

With every release, we update the data model to better support evolving needs and new feature functionality. With this release, we’ve added the following components to the Quality data model. These data model updates are automatically included in all Quality Vaults, but Admins must make configuration changes to make them available. For information on feature functionality, see What’s New in 20R1.

The following changes support the External Training Type feature:

• Updated Training Requirement (training_requirement__v) with the following fields:
  • Instructions (instructions__v)
  • Training Link (training_link__v)
• Updated Training Assignment (training_assignment__v) with the following fields:
  • Instructions (instructions__v)
  • Training Link (training_link__v)
• Updated Training Requirement (training_requirement__v) with the following object type:
  • External Training Requirement (external_training_requirement__v)
• Updated Training Assignment (training_assignment__v) with the following object type:
  • External Training Assignment (external_training_assignment__v)
• Added the following object workflows
  • Complete External Training Assignment (complete_external_training_assignment__v)
  • Verify External Training Assignment (verify_external_training_assignment__v)
  • Resubmit External Training Assignment (resubmit_external_training_assignment__v)

The following changes support the Direct Assignment to Multiple Learners feature:

• Updated Direct Assignment User Input (direct_assignment_user_input__v) with the following fields:
  • Apply to Training Requirements in (apply_to_trs_in__v)
  • Learners (learners__v)
• Updated Direct Assignment User Input (direct_assignment_user_input__v) with the following changes:
  • Learner (learner__v) is no longer a required field
• Updated Direct Assignment Request (direct_assignment_request__v) with the following fields:
  • Direct Assignment User Input (direct_assignment_user_input__v)

The following changes support the Direct Assignment to Curriculum feature:

• Direct Assignment User Input (direct_assignment_user_input__v) with the following fields:
  • Apply to Training Requirements in (apply_to_trs_in__v)
  • Learners (learners__v)
• Direct Assignment User Input (direct_assignment_user_input__v) with the following changes:
  • Learner (learner__v) is no longer a required field

We have made the following changes to support the Complete Training Assignment Workflow Visible in Admin feature:

• Added the following object workflow:
  • Complete Training Assignment (complete_training_assignment__v)

The following changes support the Auto-Recall Controlled Copies feature:

• We have added two new state types on the Controlled Copy Trace lifecycle:
  • Controlled Copy In Use: When a document version is superseded or obsolesced, the Recall Controlled Copies document entry action finds all associated Controlled Copy Trace records in this state type and transitions them to the Controlled Copy In Recall state type.
  • Controlled Copy In Recall: When a document version is superseded or obsolesced, the Recall Controlled Copies document entry action finds all associated Controlled Copy Trace records in the Controlled Copy In Use state type and transitions them to this state type.
• We have added a new field to the Controlled Copy Trace object:
  • Recall System Details: System-captured details about the automated recall process for this controlled copy. For example, if an entry criteria prevents a transition from the Controlled Copy In Use state type to the Controlled Copy In Recall state type

The following changes support the Station Manager: Additional Fields on Station Device feature. We have added three new fields to the Station Device object:

• Operating System: Captures the mobile operating system running on the device. For example, Android or iOS
• Application Version: Captures the version of the mobile application running on the device, e.g. 201.0.1-76
• Sync Details: Captures information about the most recent Vault sync for the device. For example, if the Station User does not have access to view one or more documents assigned to the Station

To support the Station Manager: Document Categorization feature, added the following field to the Station (station__v) object:
