23R2 Data Model Changes: Commercial

With every release, we update the data model to better support evolving needs and new feature functionality. With this release, we’ve added the following components to the Commercial data model. These data model updates are automatically included in all Commercial Vaults, but Admins must make configuration changes to make them available. For information on feature functionality, see What’s New in 23R2.

The following changes were made to PromoMats Vaults to support the Controlled Vocabularies for PromoMats feature:

  • Added the following document fields:
    • Health Authority Submission
    • Health Authority Decision
  • Added the following objects:
    • Controlled Vocabulary (controlled_vocabulary__v)
    • Constraints (constraint__v)
  • Added the picklist Controlled Vocabulary Type (controlled_vocabulary_type) with the following values:
    • Health Authority Submission
    • Health Authority Decision

The following changes were made to PromoMats Vaults to support the removal of the Vault CRM to PromoMats connection:

  • Removed the following components from the data model:
    • The Vault CRM to PromoMats connection record
    • The PromoMats Document Integration
    • The PromoMats Document Outbound integration point
    • The Vault CRM to PromoMats Outbound Queue
    • The Vault CRM to PromoMats Connection document type group

The following changes were also made to PromoMats Vaults:

  • Removed the CRM Message Template Translation ( crm_message_template_translation__v) object
  • Updated the CRM Message Template (crm_message_template__v) object as follows:
    • Renamed the Global Content Template (global_content_template__v) object type to Universal Content Template (universal_content_template__v)
    • Made Universal Content Template the default object type
    • Removed the Product Content Template (product_content_template__v) object type
    • Added the Country (country__v), Language (language__v), and Text (text__v) object fields
    • Added the Country (country__v), Language (language__v), and Text (text__v) fields to the Manual Assign Content Template (manual_assign_content_template__v) object type
  • Removed the CRM Message Template CRM Product (crm_message_template_crm_product__v) object
  • Removed the CRM Message Template CRM Product Group (crm_message_template_crm_product_group__v) object
  • Removed the CRM Message Template Translations Lifecycle (crm_message_template_translations__v) and added the CRM Message Template Lifecycle (crm_message_template_lifecycle__v)
  • Field dependencies are now allowed on the Actual Submitted Date (actual_submitted_date__v) and Professional / Consumer (professional_consumer__v) document fields
  • Updated the reference constraint on the Health Authority Decision document field to id IN (SELECT id FROM constraints2__vr WHERE country__v CONTAINS this.country__v), controlled_vocabulary_type__v = 'health_authority_decision__v', status__v != 'inactive__v'. This allows Admins to build Constraint records based only on Countries.
  • Added the External ID (external_id__v) field to the CRM Content Group (crm_content_group__v) object
  • Added the new inactive CRM Legacy iPad Content Mode (crm_legacy_ipad_content_mode__v) shared document field
  • Added the new inactive CRM Slide Notes (crm_slide_notes__v) shared document field
