21R1 Data Model Changes: Veeva Claims

With every release, we update the data model to better support evolving needs and new feature functionality. With this release, we’ve added the following components to the Veeva Claims data model. These data model updates are automatically included in all Veeva Claims Vaults, but Admins must make configuration changes to make them available. For information on feature functionality, see What’s New in 21R1.

These data model updates support features delivered in 21R1:

Added components to support the Auto-Populate Local Pack Copy feature:

  • Added the Country Language (country_language__v) picklist.
  • Added the Country (country__v) field to the Pack Copy (pack_copy__v) object.
  • Added the following values to the Pack Copy Type (pack_copy_type__v) picklist:
    • Global (global__v)
    • Local (local__v)
  • Added the following fields to the Element (element__v) object:
    • Element Language (element_language__v)
    • Element Country (element_country__v)
    • Global Element (global_element__v)
  • Added the Localize Pack Copy (localize_pack_copy_user_input_object__v) object.
  • Added the following lifecycle states to the Pack Copy (pack_copy_lifecycle__v) Lifecycle:
    • In Translation (in_translation_state__v)
    • Translated (translated_state__v)
  • Added the Country Language (country_language_mapping_object__v) object.
  • Added the Translator Group Setting (translator_group_setting__v) to the Claims Admin Setting (claim_user_setting) object.

Added components to support the Claim Creation Uniqueness Check feature:

  • Added the field Uniqueness Check (product_statement_hash__v) to the Claim (claim__v) object.

Added components to support the Self-Referencing Statement Records feature:

  • Added the following fields to the Statement (statement__v) object:
    • Statement Language (statement_language__v)
    • Global Statement (global_statement__v)

Added components to support the Product Hierarchy Data Model feature:

  • Added the following objects:
    • Product Composition (product_composition__v)
    • Formulation (formulation__v)
    • Formulation Composition (formulation_composition__v)
  • Added the following fields to the Product (product__v) object:
    • External ID (external_id__v)
    • Title (title__v)
    • Formulation (formulation__v)
    • Version Source (version_source__v)
    • Version Number (version_number__v)
