With every release, we update the data model to better support evolving needs and new feature functionality. With this release, we’ve added the following components to the Platform data model. These data model updates are automatically included in all Platform Vaults, but Admins must make configuration changes to make them available. For information on feature functionality, see What’s New in 21R1.
With this release, we’ve added the following components to the Platform data model to support new features:
- Added the Enabled field on the Document Type Detail (
doc_type_detail__v
) object. - Added an additional value to the Check Out Types (
checkout_types__sys
) picklist. - Added additional values to the Link Status (
link_status__v
) picklist.
Added the following components to support the Checklist: Ad Hoc Questions feature:
- Added the Ad Hoc (
ad_hoc__v
) field to the Response (response__sys
) object. - Added the Ad Hoc Questions Allowed (
ad_hoc_questions_allowed__sys
) field to the Checklist Design (checklist_design__sys
) object.
Added the following components to support the Link Annotations to Permalinks feature:
- Added the Bookmark Title (
bookmark_title_v
) field to the Permalink (permalink_sys
) object.
Added the following components to support the Track User, Machine & Vault File Manager Version feature:
- Added the Vault File Manager User (
vfm_user__sys
) object.
Added the following component to support future functionality:
- Added the Model Training VMC Action Complete (
vmc_model_training_complete__sys
) notification
The following changes support the Role Permissions feature:
- Application Roles (
application_role__v
) have a new Permission Set (permission_set__sys
) field. When a role is assigned to a user, the related permissions are assigned to the user, in addition to security profile permissions. - Role permissions introduce the concept of a role assignment to a user, as opposed to roles applied only in the context of specific documents or object records. A new platform object User Role (
user_role__sys
) is used to persist user role assignments. - User Role object records can be created, edited, or deleted by a user with the required object permissions and the Admin > Security > Users > Manage User Object permission. This object can be accessed using the standard Vault object Rest API.
