23R3 Data Model Changes: Medical

With every release, we update the data model to better support evolving needs and new feature functionality. With this release, we’ve added the following components to the Medical data model. These data model updates are automatically included in all Medical Vaults, but Admins must make configuration changes to make them available. For information on feature functionality, see What’s New in 23R3.

23R2.2

  • Product Quality Complaint (product_quality_complaint__v) object type was added to the Event (event__v) object to support the capture of product quality complaints raised in MedInquiry cases.

  • The following changes were made to Medical Vaults to support the Additional Custom Document Widgets for Portals feature:
    • Updated the Portal Widget (portal_widget__v) object as follows:
      • Added five additional Object Types:
        • Additional Content 5 (additional_five__v)
        • Additional Content 6 (additional_six__v)
        • Additional Content 7 (additional_seven__v)
        • Additional Content 8 (additional_eight__v)
        • Additional Content 9 (additional_nine__v)

  • The following changes were made to Medical Vaults to support the Enhanced Suggest Links feature:

    • Added Language field that references to language__v on the Scientific Statement (annotation_keywords__sys) object
    • Added Scientific Statement Country (scientific_statement_country__v) Join Object
    • Created fields on the Scientific Statement Country (scientific_statement_country__v) Join Object

  • Added the following fields to the Portal (portal__v) object to support the Portals: New Portal Selector Page feature:

    • Renamed the Product (product__v) field to Product Family and added the following fields:
      • Abbreviation (abbreviation__v)
      • Generic Name (generic_name__v)
      • Therapeutic Area (therapeutic_area__v)
    • Added the following objects:
      • Product Form (product_form__v)
      • Product Variant (product_variant__v)
      • Local Product (local_product__v)
    • Added the following join objects:
      • Product Family Product (product_family_product__v)
      • Local Product Country (local_product_country__v)
      • Product Family Local Product (product_family_local_product__v)
    • Added the Therapeutic Area (therapeutic_area__v) picklist
