24R1 Data Model Changes: Commercial

With every release, we update the data model to better support evolving needs and new feature functionality. With this release, we’ve added the following components to the Commercial data model. These data model updates are automatically included in all Commercial Vaults, but Admins must make configuration changes to make them available. For information on feature functionality, see What’s New in 24R1.

The following changes were made to resolve data model inconsistencies across PromoMats Vaults to support the Harmonized Data Model feature:

  • ​​Added the new Applicant (applicant__v) document field
    • The inactive shared field is provisioned only to Vaults that do not have it already
    • Field Type: Object (2253submissionapplicant__v)
  • Converted Applicant (applicant__v) field to a Shared field for Vaults that already have the field
  • Added Application (pm_application__v) field to Product Object
    • This inactive field is provisioned only to Vaults that do not have it already
    • Data Type: Object (pm_application__v)

The following changes were made to PromoMats Vaults to support the Automated Image Tagging feature:

  • Added the Image Tag (image_tag__v) object
  • Added the Image Tagging Result (image_tagging_result__v) object
  • Added the Tag Phrases picklist
  • Added the Analysis Type picklist
  • Added the Automated Image Tagging connection record
  • Added the Image Tag (image_tag__v) document field

The following changes were also made to PromoMats Vaults:

  • Added the following objects:
    • Content Module Combination (content_module_combinations__v)
    • Content Module Asset Combination (content_module_asset_combination__v)
  • Enabled object types on the Content Module object and inactivated the Base object type in Vaults without Content Modules
  • Added the Commercial and CRM Email object types to the Content Module object
  • Added the CRM Email Asset object type to the Content Module Asset object
  • Added the following object lifecycles:
    • Content Module Combinations Lifecycle
    • Content Module Asset Combinations Lifecycle

The following changes were made to Multichannel Vaults:

  • Added the CRM External Display Name (crm_external_display_name__v) document field

  • New document field: _Content Module _(content_module__v)
  • New field: External ID (external_id__v) on Content Module Asset object
  • New object type on Content Module object: CRM Email (crm_email__v)
  • New object type on Content Module Assets object: Email Asset (email_asset__v)
  • New inactive picklist CRM Target Platform (crm_target_platform__v)
  • New document field _CRM Target Platform _(crm_target_platform__v)
