24R3 Data Model Changes: Platform

With every release, we update the data model to better support evolving needs and new feature functionality. With this release, we’ve added the following components to the Platform data model. These data model updates are automatically included in all Platform Vaults, but Admins must make configuration changes to make them available. For information on feature functionality, see What’s New in 24R3.

The following changes were made to support the Reference Images in Checklist Questions feature:

  • Added Reference Media (reference_media__sys) field to the following objects

    • Question Design (question_design__sys) object
    • Available Answer Design (available_answer_design__sys) object
    • Library Question (library_question__sys) object
    • Answer Library Design (answer_library_design__sys) object
    • [target object] Response ([target object]_response__sys) object
    • [target object] Available Answer ([target object]_available_answer__sys)object

  • Added Reference Media (reference_media__sys) picklist value to the Checklist Field (checklist_field__sys) picklist.

  • Added the following changes to the Question Field Translation (question_field_translation__sys) and Available Answer Field Translation (available_answer_field_translation__sys) object types of the Checklist Field Translation (checklist_field_translation__sys) object:

    • Enabled Document (document__sys) field
    • Added Reference Media (reference_media__sys) to the picklist value override for the Checklist Field (checklist_field__sys) field

The following changes were made to support the Veeva Standard Library Questions feature:

  • Added the Locked (locked__sys) field to the Library Question (library_question__sys) and Question Design (question_design__sys) objects.
  • Added the API Name (api_name__sys) field to the Library Question (library_question__sys) object.
  • Added the Library Question (library_question__sys) field to the [target object] Response ([target object]_response__sys) object.

The following changes were made to support the Migrate Document Usage Object to Raw Object feature:

  • Updated the Data Store value of the Document Usage (document_usage__v) object from Standard to Raw.

The following changes were made to support the Client Credential Support for HttpService feature:

  • Added the Set Client Secret (set_client_secret__sys) action to the Connection Authorization (connection_authorization__sys) object.

  • Added the Client ID (client_id__sys) and Client Secret (client_secret__sys) fields to the Connection Authorization (connection_authorization__sys) object.

The following changes were made to support the Migrate Vault Component to Raw Object feature:

  • Updated the Data Store value of the Vault Component (vault_component__v) object from Standard to Raw.

The following changes were made to support the Add Annotation ID to Link Target feature:

  • Added Annotation ID (annotation_id__sys) field to the Link Target (link_target__sys) object.

Added the Supports Crosslinks (supports_crosslinks__sys) field to the Connection (connection__sys) object.

The following changes were made to support the User-Person Sync Enhancements feature:

  • Added the new Prior Person (prior_person__sys) object.
